Shooting the Splendor of Time Exposures from Igor's Castle |
Monday Evening, Nov. 29, 2010 / 7:00 pm to 10:00 pmThe one BIG field trip of the season that you won't want to miss! High atop the hills of San Dimas, you'll learn how to capture the incredible beauty of city lights at night through the vanishing art of time-exposure photography.
Special effects techniques will include basic time-exposure photography, double exposures, multiple images, flash (and flashlight) fills, and more. Get there early and spend the evening getting those great shots you've always enjoyed but never knew how to take! (Special note: Additional equipment to bring includes a tripod, cable release, special films as designated by the instructor, penlight, strobe and stopwatch. Also please note that digital cameras will work fine and a tour of the castle is included for the evening!) This trip is rain or shine, especially since the very best time to shoot is just after a rain storm when the air is fresh and clear. For details, check with the instructors, Carol Thomas and Ramiro Gaytan. |
